Crane Barge

The vessel is designed and built as non-propelled deck cargo barge with a Liebherr crane for transhipment of bulk cargo at anchorages. The barge also has a deck cargo hold with self capacity of 3000 tonnes @ 4.0m draft. The four rope grab crane, electro-hydraulically operated of type MGP 45 x 38 Litronic is installed on a 16m high pedestal, mounted on the deck of the barge. The crane particulars are as under,

• in hook operation, 50.0 metric tonnes SWL

• grab rotating arm, 17,55 m
